Success for Corona couldn’t be cooler

A way to innovate by using corrugate.  Challenge: re-create Corona’s iconic cooler display builder – made famous by Corona’s national summer TV campaign – to comply with state beer and liquor regulations. We explored cost and design possibilities of materials to make the replication as authentic as possible. Working with packaging engineers, our designers developed a corrugated solution with mixed material accents. From there, we launched a closely monitored domestic production plan to meet an aggressive in-market date. Over 6,600 corrugate coolers were palletized and drop-shipped flat to save substantially on freight costs, and placed in stores – not just in the originally planned locations, but on both coasts and in other regions. How cool is that?
