The world of branding is an ever-changing one – influenced by global events, lifestyle trends, fashion, color, books, music, movies, consumer behavior, you name it. It’s Lapine's job to keep up with it all. Read our Blog to keep yourself in the loop.
Being from small-town New England I can verify the authenticity of one time-honored TV stereotype – leaf peepers. They exist and they come out in full force this time of year. To be fair, though, if I lived in a city with concrete at all turns, I too might be enticed to pack a bag and go for a casual drive up the Merritt Parkway – something that any native Connecticuter would avoid at all costs.Read more
If you ask my friends, they might describe me as “the crafty one.” As evidenced by the sewing machine, construction paper and ribbon in my room, I definitely like to dabble in the popular world of DIY. I once made my friend a papier-mâché piece of the Agro Crag from the old Nickelodeon show Guts (the 90s are trendy too, in case you haven’t noticed) for his birthday.Read more
There’s a bite in the morning air, the leaves are starting to turn and the girl in front of you at Starbucks just ordered a pumpkin spice latte. All sure-fire signs that fall is officially here. Which means those wacky, calendar-hopping folks at Pantone have just released their Spring 2015 Color Report. I know-I just got through describing everything autumnal to you, but Pantone is always one step ahead when it comes to their announcements. So let’s hop in our fashionista-DeLoreans and see what the future of color has in store for us.Read more
The middle of September means the majority of college students have started classes, attended their first couple football games and, for the “of-age” students, discovered their favorite watering holes. When I attended Michigan State University from 2007-2011, one of my favorite parts of the whole college experience was heading back to school every year and outfitting my dorm room or apartment exactly how I wanted it and not following my parents every word about how my room should look. Now that I am a few years removed from school and officially “merchandise savvy”, here are some recommendations for products that I wish I had during my time in East Lansing.Read more
If there is one trade show I look forward to attending it is Outdoor Retailer. This show includes some of the most well-known outdoor brands at retail and I love the opportunity to see new product before the general public! After my fantastic experience at the winter show, I knew I had even more to look forward to at the Summer Outdoor Retailer show. Summer Outdoor Retailer took over downtown Salt Lake City from August 6th-9th and I had the pleasure of being a part of the action.Read more
I very rarely check the mailbox at my apartment because most of my mail is still delivered to my parents’ house. (I know, grow up.) However, on the rare occasion that I am the one on mail duty, it usually seems to be the day that my roommate receives her monthly mailing from Birchbox. The seemingly nondescript box is always filled with intriguing health and beauty products to try out and leaves me wondering why I still haven’t signed up for the service.Read more
Approximately 3.2 billion people, or just under one-third of the world’s population, park themselves in front of the television to watch the world’s greatest soccer players battle against one another for the Cup title. The 2014 FIFA World Cup, hosted in Brazil, marks another year of monumental soccer matches.Read more

Although the first day of the season is technically not for a few more weeks, in my mind Memorial Day weekend is the true kick-off of the summer. With this weekend behind us, patio furniture is coming out of storage, white pants are being taken off the high shelves of closets and I am reacquainting myself with my long lost friends, Sun and Beach.
We’ve kicked off our summer here at Lapine, too. The past few weeks have been filled with warm weather activities and good times outside of the office.Read more
Now that we have finally clawed our way out of the polar vortex (fingers crossed), it is time to get outside and embrace spring. It just so happens May, my favorite month of the year, is also National Barbecue Month.Read more
