Travel is Back in Season
As an avid traveler, I found myself going stir crazy on more than a few occasions these past two years. Optimistically looking forward to the day that I could pull out my luggage and fill it with all my favorite travel accoutrements.
Consumers are viewing getting away in 2022 a necessary part of healing and overall wellness post-COVID. For me, this happens on a beach or among the coral reefs. For many others, it’s anywhere but home. From last-minute deals to extravagant destinations, 70% of leisure travelers say they plan to spend more on travel in 2022 than they have in the past 5 years (World Travel & Tourism Council and Trip.com).

While the wanderlust is alive and well, the routines of traveling have become a lost art. I recently left on a road trip I’ve taken dozens of times, only to turn left instead of right at a key intersection. I was out of practice and the same goes for packing. This is an opportunity for businesses to help consumers fill the gaps and find their way back to the excitement of travel.
